Seasonal Fruits 1

Fruta de Época 1 is the first of a series of visual diaries by Pedro Guimarães. The Portuguese summer is the opening theme for this series of diaries, where Mediterranean and Atlantic meet in order to set the stage for a nostalgic dream. All scenes are lit with the unforgiving midday light that, despite blinding everyone’s eyes, makes every object’s single detail clearly distinguishable . Although apparently unrelated, the images follow the same sequence as that on the 3 rolls of film they were shot on.
